Our Legacy
Mrs. Anuradha Ramachandran founded Avigna Learning Academy Pvt Ltd (ALA Pvt Ltd), with the goal of ensuring that all students who graduate from any institution are job-ready and may advance in their careers quickly. ALA specializes in English language instruction, communication skills development and coaching for English proficiency tests for students seeking admissions abroad.
ALA Pvt. Ltd. has two wings that function independently; they are: ACRI and ACDI
ACRI is a Clinical Research Training Institute par excellence. ACRI is an established name in the Clinical Research Training domain for more than a decade. Dedicated with a robust curriculum that is constantly aligned to the industry requirements with its expert training to produce proficient, skilled Clinical Research professionals to the Industry
ACDI is a Career Development Institute with the primary objective to ensure that the students passing out from the institute are ready to take on the job world. Hence, equipping students with the right skills and honing their expertise through an emphasis on English Language Training, Communication Skills and Writing Services for students taking admissions abroad has been at the core of ACDI.
Anuradha Ramachandran (DIRECTOR)
Ms. Anuradha has been in the field of education for the past 40 years and from mentoring to curriculum setting to English Language Training and Communication Skills training… her aim has always been to upskill young people in order to join the country’s workforce.
In aspirational India of the 21st Century, the role of any educational mentor or Institution should be to guide the youth towards being monetarily productive… both towards self and the country’s economy.
ACRI, set up in the year 2010 under the aegis of Avigna Learning Academy, aims to train students from the Health Care and Life Sciences sector and place them in the recession-free Clinical Research Industry.
Over the years, as a teacher and trainer Anuradha’s aim has been to sensitize her students towards goal-oriented education..
From the year 2000 onwards, the focus in India shifted to professional courses and colleges set their curriculum to suit industrial requirements. With a boom in the IT sector, engineers were sought after and management graduates also found many takers in the industry. However, there was a huge gap between industry demand and employable graduates. The main reason was the complete lack of language and communication skills amongst young graduates.
In 2006, Avigna Learning Academy was set up by Anuradha to train young graduates to become employable. Right from curating their resumes and enhancing their communication and interview skills training at ALA included grooming tips and presentation skills. As a corporate trainer, Anuradha has trained more than 300 middle-level and senior-level executives: the main goal here also was to enable executives to grow in their chosen career paths.
Ms. Amrutha Babu
Academic Mentor
Ms. Amrutha is an accomplished academic expert in the field of Food and Nutrition. She has a Master’s degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam where she graduated with a gold medal. After undergoing training in Christian Medical College, Vellore started her career as a freelance diet counselor in 2009. She was also associated with Lybrate - an online platform for diet management and counseling.
After a remarkable experience in the field of dietetics, she received a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Research. Currently, she is associated with True Lessons as an academic mentor. Her core strengths are providing excellent teaching and guidance to her students. Amrutha has more than 7 years of teaching experience in the field of clinical research. She has in-depth knowledge about Drug Discovery Process, Drug Approval process, Trial documents, Trial Design, Regulatory Affairs, Query writing, ICSR, and so on.
Dr. Divya Sunil
Academic Mentor
Dr. Divya Sunil has graduated with a degree in Dentistry from Bangalore University and a PG Diploma in Clinical Research. She is passionately involved in training and motivating students who are new to the world of clinical research.
Dr. Divya is proficient in Pre-Clinical Studies, laws governing the production of drugs, designing the database for Clinical studies, medical coding, and guidelines for post-marketing surveillance.
Previously, Dr. Divya has worked as an academic mentor at a private dental college in Bangalore where she has taught more than 10,000 students. She has also co-authored an article in the monthly journal,” TRENDS IN PROSTHODONTICS” VOL 4, NO. 1 (2013) on Bone Implant contact and its relationship with the strain on the surrounding bone.
